MMPCIA in partnership with the Historic Parks Harlem Administration, invites our members, residents, and those who share, participate, and contribute to Marcus Garvey Park's majestic beauty and multigenerational activities to celebrate with us.
We are excited to feature musical performances by Deverne Williams and The Vintagesoul Band, featuring Harlem-based, Stellar Award-nominated, Kindred Award winner, Rhythm and Gospel singer Terrell-T-Rex Simon and Friends, followed by a riveting closing performance by Jazz pianist Isaiah J. Thompson.
In between performances, we will share the history and accomplishments of our long-standing organization and pay special tribute to our MMPCIA founding members, Olive and Julius Adams, Hilda Stokely, Dr. Thelma Adair, Harold Dolly, and others who laid the groundwork for the vibrant and beautiful community we live in today, including our Past President Emeritus, Patricia Pates Eaton, who passed away last year.
We will highlight our residents, business owners, and high school scholarship recipients, demonstrating our commitment to economic development and academic excellence.
